I try my best to live a pretty eco-friendly lifestyle. I’m not perfect at it. I am nowhere near the almost godliness of the no-waste people, but I try. Have you heard of Galentine’s Day? I first heard of this amazing celebration from an episode of Parks & Recreation. Leslie Knope, played by Amy Poehler, throws a yearly brunch on February 13th.
“What’s Galentine’s Day? Oh, it’s only the best day of the year. Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave their husbands and boyfriends at home and come and kick it breakfast style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It’s like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus, frittatas!”
